Iridology

Iridology

The eyes act as ‘windows’ to the whole body’s state of health.

Iridology is a diagnostic technique that involves studying the iris, or coloured part of the eye, in order to determine the inherited strengths and weaknesses, levels of inflammation/toxicity and the efficiency of the eliminative systems and organs, as well as the overall wellbeing of an individual. There are hundreds of thousands of nerve endings transmitting information from throughout the body to the irises and, as such, the eyes act as ‘windows’ to the body's state of health. I will take note of the shape, pigmentation and other various marks and signs to determine the individual constitution and specific areas that may require attention depending on a person's presenting symptoms and predisposition to certain conditions. I will look at both irises and take photographs that will be sent to you via email, together with a basic constitution handout.

I continue my training in Iridology by regularly attending professional development conferences to keep up-to-date with modern research.

For those who would like to learn more about Iridology I have written a module about it as part of the Naturopathic course (more information here).

Diploma in Iridology 2004, Plaskett College of Nutritional Medicine, Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists (entrance examination) 2010, Registered Member Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists: MGNI
